Founded in 2010, Amy Studebaker Design has garnered national recognition for creating luxury residences that are fresh, beautiful, functional, and personalized. We work closely with each client to understand their vision in order to create a cohesive architectural style unique to each new build, remodel, or decorating project.

Amy Studebaker

Owner and Principal Designer

The Owner and Principal Designer of Amy Studebaker Design, Amy is continually recognized for her signature award-winning aesthetic. Her ability to layer color and pattern, as well as blend new and antique concepts, creates a home that is fresh, inviting, and timeless. She collaborates closely with each client to design beautiful, functional interiors, that feel both comfortable and collected.

Since founding ASD in 2010, Amy has designed luxury residences in Missouri, California, New York, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Arizona, Texas, Michigan, Idaho, and Indiana. As Amy’s national portfolio continues to rapidly grow, so too has her press recognition, with features and articles in Southern Living, Martha Stewart, The Cottage Journal, Romantic Homes, and Forbes.

Amy resides in St. Louis with her husband, adorable son, and Goldendoodle (Biscuit).

Jamie Reeves

Senior Designer

Jamie’s love of interior design only grew stronger from the time she began space planning on her family’s desktop computer in middle school, through earning a BFA in interior design from the University of Central Missouri.

After graduation, Jamie worked as an interior designer in Hawaii, specializing in luxury kitchen and baths – her favorite aspect of design (along with fabric selection!). In 2016, Jamie moved back to St. Louis to begin her career at ASD, where she continues to build on her award-winning portfolio (winner of five ADA awards). She is an invaluable part of the ASD design team due to her exceptional talent, dedicated work ethic, and ability to continually exceed client expectations.

In her personal time, Jamie enjoys cooking, long bike rides, traveling with her husband, and snuggles with her Puggle (Gonzo).

Lauren Lassen

Senior Designer (E-Design)

After graduating with a BA in interior design from Brigham Young University-Idaho, Lauren relocated to St. Louis and became ASD’s first-ever intern in 2013.

Within weeks, Amy realized Lauren’s exceptional talent and offered her a full-time Design Assistant position. Over the years, Lauren has been promoted several times, and is currently the head of ASD’s e-design services. She has grown this ASD division beyond expectations, by providing clients with easy and affordable access to luxury residential design services.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband, playing with her two children, or tending to her beautiful flower garden.

Rachael Peirick

Design Assistant

Rachael believes she was always destined for a career in interior design, as she loved decorating her bedroom (over, and over, and over again) as a little girl. Her passion never wavered, as she graduated with a BFA in interior design from Maryville University in 2020.

After graduation, Rachael chose a career in residential design because it allows for creative freedom and the ability to build intimate relationships with each client. To her, there is no greater feeling than seeing projects come to life and the positive impact it provides to each family. Rachael’s upbeat personality, attention to detail, and incredible eye for design have made her an excellent addition to the ASD team!

Outside of work, Rachael enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, daydreaming about her next travel adventure, or cheering on the St. Louis Blues.

Wendy Mahr

Executive Administrator

Wendy graduated with a degree in fashion design from Stephens College in 2010 and began working in administration for Bakers Footwear Group. After five successful years at Bakers, Wendy’s position was unfortunately transferred to Miami due to an acquisition. Instead of relocating, Wendy decided to stay in St. Louis, joining ASD as Executive Administrator in 2016.

As ASD’s administration backbone, Wendy’s ability to adapt to an ever-changing role has allowed for unprecedented growth, none of which could have been achieved without her efforts behind-the-scenes. From accounting to directly supporting the entire design team, Wendy continues to exceed expectations in ASD’s fast-paced environment.

In her free time, Wendy enjoys hanging out with her husband and three children, reading, or renovating her new home (you can’t beat the free tips from our design team!).

Savannah Fernelius

Director of Marketing & Social Media

Growing up in Memphis, Savannah always had a love for the performing and creative arts. After earning two degrees in marketing and theatre studies from Missouri State University, she began her professional career in Human Resources.

Feeling the need to transition out of HR and into a more creative field, Savannah joined ASD as Director of Marketing & Social Media in 2019. In this role, Savannah has excelled in overseeing all marketing and social media initiatives for Amy Studebaker Design. Her ability to continually adapt ASD’s presence on the ever-changing social media landscape has been invaluable, leading to exceptional follower growth and brand awareness.

In her spare time, Savannah loves to cook, perform in musicals, and spoil her husband and two cats (Pippin and Dolores).

Mary Beth Leritz

Logistics Coordinator

Mary Beth’s relationship with Amy began a decade prior to her joining ASD, while working at Lulu Belles Fabrics. There, Mary Beth would assist Amy and the “Studebaker Girls” with estimating fabric yardage for their various projects. When Lulu Belles closed in 2019, Amy immediately made Mary Beth an offer to join the ASD team.

At ASD, Mary Beth serves as Logistics Coordinator, responsible for tracking ETA’s, placing product orders, handling damaged product claims, and assisting with various other administrative tasks. You’ll never see Mary Beth without a smile, as she always carries an upbeat and positive attitude!

Mary Beth is married with three adult children, and enjoys cooking, baking, sewing, playing golf, and working out at Pure Barre.
