Founded in 2010, Amy Studebaker Design has garnered national recognition for creating luxury residences that are fresh, beautiful, functional, and personalized. We work closely with each client to understand their vision in order to create a cohesive architectural style unique to each new build, remodel, or decorating project.

She collaborates closely with each client to design beautiful, functional interiors that feel both comfortable and collected.

Since founding ASD in 2010, Amy has designed luxury residences in Missouri, California, New York, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Arizona, Texas, Michigan, Arkansas, Idaho, and Indiana. In 2023, Amy joined the prestigious Palm Beach Kips Bay Decorator Show House alumni, designing “Primrose Park,” a gorgeous guest retreat space.

Amy resides in St. Louis with her husband, adorable son, and Goldendoodle (Biscuit). When relaxing, you’ll find Amy planning her family’s next travel adventure, enjoying a glass of Moscato, or designing her personal residence.

Jamie Reeves

Lead Designer

Jamie’s love of interior design only grew stronger from the time she began space planning on her family’s desktop computer in middle school, through earning a BFA in interior design from the University of Central Missouri.

After graduation, Jamie worked as an interior designer in Hawaii, specializing in luxury kitchens and baths – her favorite aspect of design (along with fabric selection!). In 2016, Jamie moved back to St. Louis and began her career at ASD, where she continues to build on her award-winning portfolio (winner of five ADA awards). She is an invaluable part of the ASD design team due to her exceptional talent, dedicated work ethic, and ability to continually exceed client expectations.

In her personal time, Jamie enjoys cooking, long bike rides, traveling with her husband, playing with her son (Otto), and snuggles with her Puggle (Gonzo).

Gracie Vinyard

Senior Designer

From a young age, Gracie was drawn to architecture and design, but it wasn’t until searching for college majors that she realized she could turn her love of design into her future career. Four years later, Gracie graduated with her BA in interior design from the University of Kentucky.

After graduation, Gracie spent three years in residential and retail design before transitioning into commercial design in 2015. Over the next six years, Gracie was responsible for designing large commercial spaces, but she lacked creative freedom and the ability to build relationships with clientele. In 2022, Gracie joined ASD, where she has flourished from the start. She loves seeing client visions come to life, all while ensuring that beauty does not interfere with function.

Gracie is ASD’s world traveler, having visited over a dozen countries with several more adventures soon to come! Stateside, you’ll find Gracie working out, listening to music, or having dinner at Katie’s Pizzeria.

Lauren Berry

Senior Designer

You could almost say Lauren was destined for a career in interior design from birth. Growing up, Lauren’s mother (interior designer) and father (architect), would often take her to job sites, put her in charge of organizing fabrics, and serve as their invaluable test audience when either was tasked with designing a child’s space.

While still in high school, Lauren began her interior design career employed at both a design showroom as well as custom workroom. In 2013, she transitioned into luxury residential interior design where she began working intimately with clients, contractors, and architects. Since joining ASD, Lauren has become a vital asset due to her keen attention to detail, ability to lead projects, and applicable personal design aesthetic.

Away from the studio, you’ll find Lauren perusing estate sales/antique shops, walking her dog (Boone), or working on her personal home projects with her husband (Daniel).

Lauren Lassen

Senior Designer (E-Design)

Lauren graduated with her BA in interior design from BYU in 2012, relocated to St. Louis and became ASD’s first intern in 2013. Within weeks, Amy realized Lauren’s exceptional talent and offered her a full-time Design Assistant position. Over the years, Lauren has been promoted several times, currently serving as head of ASD’s E-Design Services.

Lauren has grown this division beyond expectations, providing clients with easy and affordable access to luxury residential design services. She loves helping clients breathe new life into a space, regardless of their project size or budget. Since ASD launched their e-design offering in 2019, Lauren has successfully assisted countless clients accomplish their design goals through understanding their vision, applying her expertise, and delivering results that reflect their personal style.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband, playing with her two children, or tending to her beautiful flower garden.

Lauren Bagley

Junior Designer

Lauren graduated with her BA in interior design from Missouri State University in 2009 and relocated to Baton Rouge where she began her residential design career. She immediately fell in love with the warm weather and Southern charm, but always knew she would return to St. Louis.

Sure enough, in 2016, Lauren was offered a commercial design opportunity with a global commercial real estate firm based in St. Louis. Over the next several years, Lauren was responsible for designing commercial projects nationwide, while also managing an entire design team. Although satisfied with commercial design, Lauren always longed for more creative flexibility. Since joining ASD in 2022, Lauren has excelled with her transition back into luxury residential design, helping clients turn their visions into reality.

Lauren loves spending her free time traveling to new destinations with her husband, playing with her nieces/nephews, or spoiling her two dogs (Stella/Kane).

Hannah Nail

Junior Designer

Hannah’s interest in design began early on, watching (and learning from) her parents design and build several luxury homes. As her interest in design increased over the years, Hannah had an easy choice in deciding her college major. Four years later, she graduated with her BA in interior design from Illinois State University.

After graduation, Hannah began her design career working at a commercial architectural firm, but her passion always resided with residential design. In 2021, Hannah transitioned into luxury residential design, where she continues to build an impressive portfolio through her innate ability to connect with clients. At ASD, Hannah’s infectious positive attitude and strong work ethic have made her an instant favorite among her co-workers and clients alike.

In her spare time, you’ll catch Hannah walking her dogs (Winifred and Andy), visiting local coffee houses, or planning her next excursion.

Grace McNeely

Design Assistant

While helping her mother breathe new life and charm into their family’s historic home growing up, Grace developed a love for interior design and timeless architecture. Throughout the renovation process, she learned that with a little creativity and patience, there is potential for beauty in any space – and anywhere can feel like home.

After graduating with a degree in microbiology from BYU, Grace began applying to medical school, but couldn’t shake her desire to pursue a career in interior design. She decided to hold off on medical school and instead joined ASD as a Design Assistant. At ASD, Grace is responsible for project management as well as assisting in the overall design process. With her precision to detail and natural design aesthetic, Grace has been a wonderful addition to the ASD design team.

Having recently moved to St. Louis, Grace has been busy exploring her new city (running in Forest Park has been her favorite!). She also loves trying new recipes with her husband (Brad), going on vacation, and spoiling her niece.

Abby Barnes

Director of Finance

Having always been drawn to numbers and problem-solving, Abby had a feeling early on she would end up working in accounting and finance. She graduated with her BS in accounting from Truman State University in 2002 (followed by an MBA from Maryville University in 2011), and spent the next 20 years in healthcare finance, before deciding to seek new opportunities.

When contacted by ASD about their Director of Finance opening, Abby jumped at the opportunity to join the world of interior design, as any home renovation show has always been her guilty pleasure! At ASD, Abby is responsible for all finance/accounting related tasks and ensuring accurate/streamlined processes between ASD, clients, and vendors. Abby’s financial insight has been invaluable to ASD’s success, positioning the firm to have the ability to pursue current/future strategic business ventures.

Abby is married with three children (Ellie, Victoria, and Libby), enjoys trying new local restaurants, or tackling weekend home improvement projects.

Wendy Mahr

Director of Marketing and Administration

Wendy graduated with a degree in fashion design and product development from Stephens College in 2010. After graduation she began working in administration for Bakers Footwear Group, but after five successful years, Wendy’s position was unfortunately transferred to Miami due to an acquisition. Instead of relocating, Wendy joined ASD as Executive Administrator in 2016.

Over the years, Wendy has been promoted several times, currently serving as Director of Marketing and Administration. She is ASD’s administrative backbone, while also leading the firm into a variety of new strategic revenue-generating opportunities that have allowed for unprecedented growth, none of which could have been achieved without her efforts. Wendy’s strong work ethic, ability to multi-task, selflessness, and intuition have positioned her as a priceless member of the ASD team.

Wendy enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, reading, or renovating her new home (you can’t beat the free tips from our design team!).

Mary Beth Leritz

Logistics and Procurement Coordinator

Mary Beth’s relationship with Amy began a decade prior to her joining ASD, while working at Lulu Belles Fabrics. There, Mary Beth would assist Amy and the “Studebaker Girls” with estimating fabric yardage for their various projects. When Lulu Belles closed in 2019, Amy immediately made Mary Beth an offer to join the ASD team.

At ASD, Mary Beth is responsible for tracking ETA’s, placing product orders, handling damaged product claims, and assisting with various administrative tasks. Mary Beth’s acute product knowledge as well as her ability to successfully navigate through several daily behind-the-scenes logistical challenges have been an absolute asset to the entire ASD design team. You’ll also never see Mary Beth without a smile, as she always carries an upbeat and positive attitude!

Mary Beth is married with three adult children, and enjoys cooking, baking, sewing, playing golf, and working out at Pure Barre.
